WHATS NEW

our_services

Congratulations Donald!!!

For those of you already breeders and registered with the MGR, we are over the moon thrilled that our Donald was awarded a 3rd place in  their annual photo contest under the category of "Longest Horns!"

Finally!

After months of pondering, tears and heated discussions and then more tears we have finished determining the breeding stock that will be available.  We have posted everyone on our list and added current photos.   All goats are registered with the MGR.

I cannot reiterate enough, this is not a dispersal.

We have added a couple of pages to make it easier for reviewing the goats.

AVAILABLE BUCKS

AVAILABLE DOES

We made our journey east.  We currently have a trip west as far as Calgary area scheduled for August 31, 2025.

If there is someone you are very interested in you don't see, please reach out.  The worst we can say is "sorry, they are staying here".

CAE and CL testing was done in 2023.  All negative and no additions or changes.  No abscesses.

Johnes testing done 2025.  All tested were negative.

And that is a wrap!

ABOUT

US

WE ARE TURTLE MOUNTAIN FAINTERS...... and we LOVE our goats.

My name is Heather Young and together with my husband Vince, we are Turtle Mountain Fainters.  We reside in the beautiful Turtle Mountains in southern Manitoba with our amazing herd of fainting goats, cats and dogs,  chickens and guinea fowl.

We started "collecting" fainting goats in July of 2016 when we brought home Cookie and Bella, followed closely by Tim and Prancer in August and then Emmy and Ruby that September.  We strive to constantly improve our genetics, by adding new imported lines to our herd, we believe we are succeeding.   Many, many goats later here we are, we have never been happier living our very own dream.

We are a proud member of the Myotonic Goat Registry.  If you would like to learn more about the Myotonic breed, click the MGR logo and check out their website for information on breed standards and history.
